Hello to everyone who is reading this! My name is Bruce and I am the admin of my own independent blog 'The Motorsport Guru'. In this blog, I will discuss the latest news and stories surrounding the top flight racing series in the world and providing personal opinions and spaces for discussion around these specific stories.

Motor racing hosts some of the most exciting and innovative sporting platforms ever seen. This form of competition hosts the worlds fastest cars and show what the brightest minds in engineering and design are capable of whether the rule book is restricted or thrown away. It challenges the absolute maximum in mental strength and human physicality purely in the pursuit to travel as fast as possible and to cross the finish line ahead of their other competitors. It generates the quickest cars ever seen on a track, the greatest collection of innovation and ingenuity amongst engineers and, most importantly, showcases the greatest and most exciting driving talent to grace this earth. This is why I have loved racing for a long time now and to create this blog to share that passion leaves me excited for what is to come in the future.

The basis of this page will be around reporting and discussing news across all forms of racing. The world of motorsport is huge right now and there are so many championships which are absolutely worth coverage. Currently this page is sticking with Formula 1, Indycar and Formula E but plans of expansion to other categories will be coming in due course. Notable examples will include the World Endurance Championship, IMSA Sportscars, the World Rally Championship, V8 Supercars series, NASCAR, DTM and GT World Challenge. The list is truly endless and really shows how alive and varied the racing world is right now and why racing deserves so much more love and attention than what it is getting right now.

But motorsport in the social space is also cruel. Criticism is crucial in showing the flaws of teams and drivers and how they can overcome their personal hurdles. But more often than not can the negatives overtake any bright spots a driver may possess. Alongside our racing categories will be 'Defining Drives'. This exists solely for praising the drives that really defined a drivers career and why as fans we gush over and appreciate their talents in the first place. 

          

Elitism is a prevailing feeling in the world of motorsport where arguments are constantly made over a certain series' superiority, but it always comes at the cost of fans undervaluing and downright creating hate towards everything else outside of their own bubble. The truth is all forms of motorsport should not be overlooked. No matter the levels of presentation and the way competition is delivered, the racing is always exciting whether it has a few million fans or a few thousand.

The goal of this blog is purely not just to have a space to discuss and express this passion but a space in which embraces and allows all fans from all corners of the racing community to indulge in their passions of their favourite racing series. It is a world full of life and energy and one that I not only want to share with you all but want to treat with respect. This blog is still in its early phases so any form of feedback or inaccuracies found are more than welcome. I really want achieve my goals of creating a space of engagement and harmony for motorsport and I hope everyone enjoys the ride along the way.
